PREGNANT WOMEN
Joth Shakerley

Pregnant Women is a collection of fifty black and white, fine art nudes in celebration of the female body in metamorphosis. These remarkable photographs of pregnant mothers explore the evocative joy, fun, peculiarities and sensuality of pregnancy. Each photograph is complimented beautifully by a piece of specially selected literary companion prose.

He sung the embryo’s growth within the womb,
And how the parts their various shapes assume.
With what rare art the wondrous structure’s wrought,
From one crude mass to such perfection brought.

Sir Richard Blackmore (1654-1729)
